Hey! How’s it going? What have you been up to?
Hey there! I’ve been doing well. I started a new job, just told someone that I loved them for the first time, and am currently finishing up a load of laundry. You know, usual life stuff.
What do you do for a living? What do you do for fun?
I currently work for a small content marketing agency. I manage social media and events-related content for a client. My job is fun, but for real fun, I read a lot of magazines, take photos, and make collages out of magazines. I also have a soft spot for spicy alcoholic drinks.
Can you tell us about the day you shot the camera ?
It was a normal workday at my old job and I wanted to capture all of the small details that go into it. Not a particularly exciting or unique day, but beautiful nevertheless. Noticing the shafts of afternoon light, the way electric cords tangle up underneath a table, a congregation of pigeons lining the walk from the train to the office. That sort of stuff.
Can you tell us something about the place you live in?
I live in San Francisco, which is a weird, magical city of opposites and so many different, unique kinds of people. I also live in a three-bedroom apartment that I share with two roommates, in a neighborhood known for its extraordinary amount of children (there are not a lot of people under 18 in San Francisco).
Would you would like to share anything with the readers? Anything at all?
Please read either “Even Cowgirls Get the Blues” by Tom Robbins or “Weetzie Bat” by Francesca Lia Block. I think both of those books explain both the beauty of life and the craziness of life, all done up in a really wonderful, magical writing style. They’re lovely.
